Abstract

In view of the substantial growth in research activities and publications in additive manufacturing (AM) over the past decade, the paper seeks to classify and concentrate on the topics most important to the framework of additive manufacturing (AM) and to analysis representative journal publications related to theseareas. Because of their graded material properties, which result from gradually distributed compositions or structures, functionally graded materials (FGMs) have attracted a lot of research interest in the field[2]. In recent years, metallic FGMs have been widely studied, and additive manufacturing (AM) has become an important approach to build metallic FGMs. This paper also aims to provide an overview of the research progress in metallic FGMs fabricated by laser metal deposition (LMD) an AM process that is widely used in metallic materials.Digitally generated concrete (DFC) can, from an economic point of view, cause improvements in both the stakeholders and the cost structure .Although the quantitative representation of the cost structure is currently too optimistic, the DFC offers several possible opportunities to reduce the cost of construction procedures. In comparison to the size of the structure created, the environmental impact of concrete 3D printing needs to be seen. The purpose of this review is to create a thought of research and application of this modern technique. This is an attempt to discuss all the relevant progress that has been done till now.The conclusion outlines the crucial areas relating to potential studydesires for the effective execution of AM in widely discussed areas.
